Named after the famous Chevy Chase Club in Maryland (no, not the actor from those vacation movies), our neighborhood boasts a rich history. Back in the day, developer Henry Clay Simpson, a direct descendant of Statesman Henry Clay, was quite the fan of a good fox hunt, so he decided to name our neighborhood in honor of the thrilling chases that took place at the original Chevy Chase Club.
